Okay, so check it out, King Kong is an absolutely killer movie. Yes it has action, suspense, thrills, and CGI stuff that's absolutely believable. But it's the overall impact that hits you on the head. The compassion (can't think of a better word) of Kong learning how to feel for Naomi Watts character was beautiful to watch. And the loss of that compassion (for his fellow human beings, when compared with glory and profit) in Jack Black's character was made abundantly clear. Great messages, great acting, and GREAT CGI work with the help of Andy Serkis's movements as Kong. It also helps that we had some more Churritos at the theater. God, I hope they get these things in American theaters. Crispy, long, fried dough things covered in cinnamon and sugar, or the chocolate version that's covered in sugar and chocolate sugar crystal things. Man. Bring the insulin, I'm going for diabetic shock. But, uh, yeah, Kong is a great movie.
